If you know someone who’s depressed, please resolve never to ask them why. Depression isn’t a straightforward response to a bad situation; depression just is, like the weather. Try to understand the blackness, lethargy, hopelessness, and loneliness they’re going through. Be there for them when they come through the other side. It’s hard to be a friend to someone who’s depressed, but it is one of the kindest, noblest and best things you will ever do.

I’m fascinated by art on a large scale, so the fact that so much of it is not all that good bothers me.  This particular piece would be fine, outside of the fact that it’s little over a year old - so the ‘rust’ is artifice.

Sadly, I have no room at all to do larger scale art of my own… nowhere to make it and nowhere to put it when it’s done.

I haven’t forgotten about you, my lovelies… just had “work in progress”.

This is one of a pair of candle holders created as a gift.
